Docked to the regional management KUUSK, this project installs a mobility representative for the region. Since March 2019, mobility officer Manuel Tschenet has been dealing with all questions concerning the huge and explosive topic of mobility in our region. His task is to search for and develop innovative concepts and solution strategies for the region plagued by traffic. Through the networking of stakeholders and decision-makers, his own commitment and solution orientation, Manuel is the first in his field to provide the right impulses and play a decisive role in developing the region.
The history of the Kufstein fortress is inextricably linked with a name, Emperor Maximilian I. The Habsburg ruler conquered the fortifications from the Bavarians in 1504. On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of his death, a permanent exhibition is opened in the Kufstein fortress, which leads through the life of Maximilian I. The exhibition is dedicated to the fortress's history. The population and the tourists can thus be introduced to the history of the region in the most modern way.
Inclusion is to be lived at the Lilienhof in Schwoich. A shell building will be developed into a competence centre for children with disabilities and will provide therapy rooms and possibilities for treatment with animals.
In line with the Green Care philosophy, this agricultural enterprise will serve health and education and contribute to the well-being of the population with a wide range of educational, therapeutic and care products as well as social services.
The LEADER-funded project "Lilienhof - Bauernhoftage" enables the kindergarten children of Kufstein and the surrounding area not only to visit a farm, but also to become part of the farm at regular intervals. The children get to know agriculture and nature in a playful, sensual and experience-oriented way. By experiencing animals and nature they experience themselves and their environment directly. An awareness for the processes in nature develops and they learn to take responsibility for themselves and their environment. The container designed for this purpose makes it possible to visit the site regardless of the weather and creates comfort.
The aim of the project is to enhance the value of regional cultural assets in the participating communities. By dealing with the entire topic, an update of the art cadastre register can be prepared step by step and, as a result, the population can be sensitised.
Volunteers should be supported in their important activities for society through training. In the form of expert workshops, training courses are held on association-relevant topics in the areas of association law, taxes, data protection, public relations, communication, internal organisation, sustainability, volunteering and personal development. Target groups are honorary board members, responsible persons and organizers in associations of the region, social institutions and organizations.
The Days of Fine Arts gave regional artists a suitable platform to exhibit their works. There was a lack of attention for visual arts in the region.
Through the introduction of a region-wide reusable cup system, in cooperation with various participating companies, waste and money are now saved.
After 10 years of vacancy, the municipality of Niederndorf is trying to revive the traditional Post Inn. For a long time it was a kind of centre of village life. Combining modern lifestyles with old infrastructures - this is the aim of the project, which is also reflected in the name "Måchkammerl". It shall be used by associations of the village and there are also planned some co-working spaces für start ups from the region.
Stadtwerke Kufstein started the eCarsharing project Beecar. As economical alternative to the own car these Beecars can be booked on-line. It was begun with altogether seven electric vehicles. Available and in cooperation with the communities of Kufstein, Langkampfen, Niederndorf and Kössen, they promote environmentally conscious and economical e-mobility. It is planned to expand the offer further.
The project sommer:KIK not only offers an exciting journey of discovery around art, culture and creativity, but also helps to close gaps in childcare during the holiday seasons.
The association Lebensmittel. will communicate interesting facts about herbs, their use, processing and (healing) effects to locals as well as holiday guests with experts. Beyond that an exciting master program is planned in the form of workshops & seminars, markets and a large herb symposium. The LEADERproject Kräuterzeit 2018-2020 offers an ideal environment to experience nature in the region in an educational way.
In a research project, the technical framework conditions for the safe operation of autonomous mobility concepts (autonomous traffic (bus, car), drones) as well as sensible economically viable applications are to be developed and investigated.
The "Kaiserland Genuss" project is the regional initiative for marketing regional products and services from the LEADER region KUUSK. Under the brand 'Kaiserweis' participating companies are grouped together.
A market analysis is carried out in the KUUSK LEADER region. The consumer behaviour of the population has changed according to the motto "live in the country, work in the city and shop on the Internet". As a result, many local supply structures have deteriorated in recent years.
The project aims to establish a regional cultural association. Artists from the communities of the LEADERregion KUUSK find there both a networking platform and a collective appearance in order to obtain funding.
The Transformations+ project draws attention to the waste problem in the community of Kössen through an artistic presentation.
Soil as a resource is getting shorter and shorter in the Inntal, especially because of a loss of coordination in business settlements and missing municipal cooperation. This causes terrible traffic problems and high prices for land. We try to work against it by patronizing the actors in working together and minimizing their use of resources and land. This coordination office helps the municipalities to save money.
The ABC-Café shall help people with another mothertoung as german, especially refugees, to improve their grammatical facilities and also to overcome problems in their everyday life here in the region. There are different offers for men, women, and women with children.
The new i.ku - Innovationplattform Kufstein acts as a bridge between economy and innovation with in the region. The cooperation shall be optimized and there should be a exchange of information and experiences, as well as an awareness for the upcoming digitalisation. Leading companies and institutions got together as project-partners.
Together with our LAG neighbour Mangfall-Inntal and the tourism association Kufsteinerland, LEADER is sponsoring a transnational coordination and analyse of the bikeway network in the region. This should be a step ahead in generating a new mobility concept, which is a very important point in our development strategy of our region.
As a goal of the project caring relatives should get some relief by carers for special occasions through the construction of a personal pool. These peple will be trained and there will be some regulars - table for the caring relatives to get into communication. All social servies of the region, Public Employment Service Austria and the austrian federal economic chamber are cooperating in this initiative.
There is a great offer of events here in our LEADER-region KUUSK. Therefore a new magazin called "culture in Kufstein and around it" releases five-times a year a regionwide eventcalendar, information about artists and news concerning the cultural life here. The "Standortmarketing Kufstein" is the publisher of the magazine, which is sponsored by LEADER and supported by tourism association Kufsteinerland.
LEADER is sponsoring an education program for employees of the regional tourism association. Together with our neighbour LAGs Kitzbüheler Alpen and regio³ we are investing in humanressources. A lifelong learning should be focused through this project.
As part of this project, which was initiated by the Arbeiterkammer Tirol, the University of Innsbruck conducted a survey regarding the offer of child care institutions in the LEADER-region. The findings will be used to understand the deficites and improve the situation.
By focusing an exchange of best-practice-examples, this transnational LEADER-project between LAGs in Austria, Germany, Sweden and Finland should help integrating immigrants in rural areas. There's a focus on the integration on the employee market in Austria.
Through creating a concept for coming entrepreneurs shall help them by the implementation of innovative ideas. There is a strong connection to science, which can be also a fruitful binding.
The association called Grias Di! is a initiative of companies in the Kaiserwinkl area. It wanted to get focus again on local traders. Through different actions the local economy should be enlived.
Through this transnational project between the municipal of Kössen (AT) and Schleching (DE) is focusing on a boarderregion between the two touristic areas. This should get more attractive, which happended through a strong civil participation.
Through connecting different bikeways in the municipalities Kufstein, Thiersee, Schwoich and Bad Häring, a new mobilization concept shall be initiated. A feasibility study is showing the deficites at the moment, which need to be optimized. Then the growing network can be used by everyone, toursists and the local people. Especially thinking of strong trend of E-biking.
To get to know more information about the near future of our region, the LEADERverein KUUSK, together with our LAG neighbour Kitzbüheler Alpen initiated a survey about urbanisation tendencies. It is focusing on question like traffic, poverty, social problems, unemployment as well as criminality.
LEADER helps financing an environmental education using regional protected areas as examples and introducing them to the local population as well as tourists, to get to know them in a special way. Different courses, from yoga in the wilderness to information about special animals or plants, were offered from the tourism association Kufsteinerland.
In Erl, one of our municipals in the region, LEADER has sponsored a way of the cross on the Kalvarienberg. The tyrolean artist Anton Christian made the stations. A new cultural attraction beside the passion plays was founded.
The LEADER-region KUUSK should get more attractive for conventions and congresses. Measures, sponsored by LEADER are a cost-benefit analyses as well as the creating of an image by establishing a Kufstein Convention Bureau. The touristic offers shall be broadened.
The project contains a coordination base, which is responsible for the marketing of regional products. Networking between the producers, setting up a platform of coordination and a database as well as optimizing longlasting marketingstrategies are the main tasks of the job, created by the project.
To work against a lack of professionals, young people should get to know different companies, that they get an overview about the possibilities in our region. This is a cooperation project together with our neighbour-LAG Kitzbüheler Alpen.
The goal of this project is, that young refugees should get into the german language as fast as possible. It shall also help to see the abilities they have, so that it is easier for them to get into the job market. Through the project they get to know local companies.
The project called "Wish-Granny" is financing a coordinationbase, where someone should match willing grandmas and grandpas with families, who are lacking of them. Therefore elderly people stay in contact and families are relieved. It is a cooperation project with our neighbour-regions Kitzbüheler Alpen and regio³.
